A rich, bubbling blend of melted Mexican cheese and chorizo served with golden, warm Guerrero Homestyle Soft Tacos for the ultimate shareable indulgence.
Ingredients
- 12 Guerrero® Homestyle Soft Tacos
- 450g Mexican Blend Cheese, grated
- 230g of chorizo, crumbled and cooked through
- ½ cup of Pico de Gallo
- 1 jar Salsa
- 4 Small iron skillets, 12cm wide
Method
1. Pre-heat oven to 200°C degrees
2. On the stovetop on medium-low heat, heat skillets until they are hot, divide the grated cheese among the skillets and top with chorizo.
3. Carefully place the skillets on a baking sheet and put in the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
4. Meanwhile, on a hot flat cast iron pan, cook the Soft Tacos on each side until they are golden brown. Place them in a tortilla warmer until they are ready to eat. Remove the chorizo queso from the oven. Serve on a large cutting board or oven safe surface.
5. Top with pico de gallo and roll into your warm tortillas. Enjoy with your favourite salsa.
